Well… last night was crazy but in the most amazing way you can think of! We’re finally calming down from our live session on Another Country With Ricky Ross on BBC Radio Scotland! Thanks to Ricky and the entire BBC team for being so kind, making us sound and look better than we could’ve! It was a really enjoyable night.
Hopefully enjoyable for all you lot as well, we were smiling from ear to ear when we got home at 2am to find all the support everyone had been giving us. We were told by a few people that they were even having ‘Mermaid Radio Parties’. Hope our music was acceptable party music!
We’ll admit that we were more nervous about the chatting than we were about the actual singing. Ellen managed to forget the name of Crowded House and Rosie managed to drop her plectrum, thankfully at the very end of our session but everyone likes a bit of banter. We talked to Ricky about several subjects! About our musical family and how we always joke about setting up a Von Trapp tribute act, about our debut album ‘IN A DAY‘ and also we touched on our wide taste in music, from Jimi Hendrix to The Eagles!
Never before have we had so many cameras on us! Not only were we doing a live session on BBC Radio Scotland, we were also being filmed for BBC Introducing (Which will be available to view over the next week! We promise to let you know exactly when.) and there must have been at least five cameras on us for the entire session, just for a little added pressure.

Thanks to everyone for their on-going support, it’s appreciated an incredible amount.
